welcome to a soft place to land
Do you feel like you’re carrying wounds that never seem to fade? Maybe you’ve learned to function so well that no one notices how much you’re struggling—but inside, it’s a different story. You might feel:
- Anxious, hypervigilant, or unable to relax.
- Stuck in the same cycles of relationships or behaviors, even when you want to change.
- Numb, disconnected, or unsure of how to access your feelings.
- Burdened by shame or self-blame that feels impossible to shake.
- Like you don’t know who you are, or like your sense of self has been lost along the way.
Sometimes these feelings stem from long-standing patterns of survival—coping mechanisms that helped you get through difficult times but now leave you feeling trapped or disconnected. Other times, they show up as a sense that something’s missing or off, even if you can’t quite name what it is.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Since 2018, I’ve helped people untangle these difficult feelings so they can reconnect with themselves and begin to heal. Therapy offers a safe space to slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and take steps toward a life that feels more fulfilling. Together, we can work to uncover patterns that no longer serve you, rebuild a sense of self, and create room for growth and connection.
I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s find you again.
Let yourself be the person you’ve secretly always wanted to be.

hi! i’m matthias
Whether you’ve tried therapy before or it’s completely new to you, if you’re looking for a therapist who will thoughtfully listen and respond, not just hand you a worksheet to fill out, you’re in the right place.
My approach to therapy is trauma informed and depth-based, the work we do together is tailored to your unique experiences. Rather than offering surface-level fixes, we’ll focus on helping you uncover the deeper roots of your challenges. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, emotions, and survival mechanisms that have shaped your life—and work toward loosening their hold.
Therapy is a process of untangling and rebuilding. As we work together, you’ll gain clarity about who you are, what you want, and how to live a life that feels more like your own. This isn’t a quick or linear path, but it’s one that offers the chance to heal and grow in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to you.
If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to help you take that first step.

rates & insurance
Individual Sessions (50 minutes): $200
My practice is private pay.
Fees can be paid by cash, check, credit/debit, or HSA. Due to limited space available and restrictions of services, I do not bill insurance.
You are responsible for interacting with your insurance providers and for therapy payments. However, upon request a receipt of payment and services is available in order for you to submit for Out of Network benefits. Please note that if you wish to pursue reimbursement, insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis. I will speak with you and provide psychoeducation around this topic.
As with any insurance questions, it is a good idea to call your insurance company directly to verify coverage before receiving services. Some helpful questions to ask include:
-
What is the reimbursement rate for an out-of-network provider?
-
Is approval required from my primary care physician for me to pursue and be reimbursed for mental health services?
-
How many outpatient mental health sessions are covered per year?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
You get to tell the story of you, and your story has more power than you can imagine.
